About me

Who is behind NASAMA?

Bursting with energy, always ready for new projects, and with a constant smile on my face...

I'm Mélanie, and I don’t know how to live at anything less than full speed! A former web project manager, I have over 10 years of experience in digital marketing. Like many women, the arrival of my three children profoundly reshaped my priorities, redefined my values, and sparked new aspirations.

First, I longed for a true balance between my professional and personal life. Then, over time, the need to feel more useful and to help others became undeniable.

So, during my last pregnancy, two babies grew inside me: my adorable little girl and my new professional journey into parenthood support.

NASAMA, a name with a story

People often ask me where the name NASAMA comes from.

For some, it evokes a mysterious exotic destination; for others, it sounds like a wise word from a foreign language. But NASAMA is none of these things.

This name, this project, is a little piece of my children: NAthan, SAmuel, and MAxine.

Because they are the ones who gently but surely guided me toward bringing this dream to life.

From Toronto to the Pays de Gex: the genesis

When Nathan was born in 2012, we were living in Toronto, Canada. There, I was fortunate to receive exceptional prenatal and postnatal support. Unfortunately, when Samuel arrived in 2015, I didn’t have the same experience.

Back in France, living in Grenoble with my family, I felt isolated and unprepared due to the lack of resources, activities, and even stores dedicated to expecting and new parents. After relocating to Saint-Genis-Pouilly, in the Ain region, and beginning my third pregnancy in 2018, I faced the same reality once again.

In the Pays de Gex, very few initiatives existed to help parents connect and build a social network around the life-changing event of having a child.

The decision was made: if the support wasn’t available, I would create it myself.

My training

Dedicated to providing high-quality services, I have undergone multiple training programs and continue to expand my knowledge regularly.

Nasama's partners

NASAMA proudly supports SuperMamans France, an organization dedicated to building a volunteer network to support new and expecting mothers.

The association connects "Maman à bichonner", those experiencing the early stages of motherhood, with "Maman cadeau". A "Maman cadeau" offers support by preparing healthy, free meals, lending a helping hand at home, or simply providing companionship.

There are so many ways to help!

As a Maman cadeau in the Ain region, I find great joy in these moments of care, which help ease the transition for families welcoming a newborn.
